On a benchmark survey conducted by Avaya to its Fabric Connect customers, they found out that when companies implement their SDN system, failover time improves from 13.6 minutes down to 320 milliseconds on selected cases. Significantly, Avaya also found out that about 88% of company CIOs and VPs have plans to implement SDN in the near future.
